Chattanooga Continuum Kit

The Chattanooga® Continuum™ is a portable 2 channel stimulator used by therapists in clinics and patients at home to provide electrical stimulation treatments in pain management (TENS) and neuro muscular stimulation (EMS/NMES).

This device can be customized to use a muscle pump protocol by adjusting the short NMES setting.

In this method we'd use a Symmetrical Biphasic waveform to contract the muscles below the edema and force the swelling out. We'd set 0 off time and at least 20 minute run time and run that a low HZ so your patient is feeling enough intensity to get a tapping sensation – but NOT a full blown contraction. This may not be quite as effective as using ion-repelling hi-volt but it's an inexpensive option that will give similar results.
